Increased Slots For US F1 Visa, Giving Hope To Indian Students To Study Abroad
Several US consulates within India have been observed for their capacity to open up increased slots for the application of F1 visas, which is increasing hopes for Indian students willing to study in the US.
Reports provided by various newspapers have stated that Indian students who have been rejected 3-4 times before during their application for the F1 visa have hopes of pursuing their dreams due to a rise in application slots.
The F1 visa is known to be issued for a time period of 5 years for Indian students who are seeking to pursue their master’s degree in the United States. Various reports also state that candidates do not have to travel far to Delhi and Chennai for the application of F1 visas.
As the US Consulate in Hyderabad would also be increasing their slots for the application process of the F1 visa process. Earlier reports regarding the process state that the US had opened up the F1 visa process across its consulates in India. Moreover, visa appointments would be available from mid-July to mid-August.
Indian students tend to make up more than 21% of the overall population of international students in the United States. During the academic year of 2021-2022, approximately of 200,000 students from India were present in the United States.

The close ties between the two nations have been noted for the increase of Indian students being interested in studying in the US. India’s ambassador of India, Eric Garcetti, has stated that numerous Indians tend to come to the United States as students more than any other nation.
So, it has been observed that Indians do not only approach the United States for the purpose of gaining education and knowledge but also to excel in their perspective field.
