The current ADA guidelines incorporate the ADA San Antonio physiatrist as they have been recognized as a pivotal force in creating the guidelines. The involvement of Dr. Monica Verduzco-Gutierrez in bringing the disability management aspect into the ADA recommendations towards diabetes care was of the greatest magnitude.
